Corporate Counsel - Compliance Duties: Reporting to Chief Compliance Counsel, the Corporate Counsel - Compliance, will be responsible for a range of compliance matters, including policies, programs, training, and investigations. Work will cover global enterprise risk management, anti-corruption, competition law, international trade and export control, data privacy, third party diligence, and litigation management. Will be opportunities to develop in other areas, such as in supporting employment investigations and M&A activity. Advise General Counsel, Chief Compliance Counsel, and senior management on U.S. and international compliance risks and mitigation strategies. Assist Chief Compliance Counsel in managing the company's compliance programs and related training, certification, monitoring, investigation, and enforcement throughout the organization. Enhance the design and execution of compliance programs to reduce risk of legal violations. Advise other legal team members ( train the trainer ) and business units on day-to-day corporate compliance. Draft, implement, maintain, and update compliance policies, procedures, and guidance. Lead and assist with internal investigations. Manage litigation, either as case lead or by supervising outside counsel. Review new regulations, proposed rules, and trends, and advise as to potential effects and planning needs. Support, as needed, Chief Employment Counsel with compliance and investigations and varied employment-related assignments. Handle complex legal projects, with significant financial and business impact, as needed. Use project management techniques and apply leading edge thinking.

Qualifications: JD Degree required. Significant experience in corporate compliance with a global company required, preferably with a network, security, or technology company. Litigation and investigation experience preferred. Experience with employment law preferred. Knowledge of and experience advising on anti-corruption, export control and trade compliance, data privacy, and competition laws and regulations. Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate complex regulatory issues and processes to management and employees effectively. Ability to work collaboratively with directors, senior management, and other functional groups, on deadline. Ability to manage many projects independently with minimal supervision, a customer service attitude, attention to detail, and flexibility and willingness to work on a variety of legal matters. Must think strategically and apply sound legal and business judgment to critical corporate projects. Must be able to operate at the Board level and with senior management. Should be able to work independently, meet deadlines, pay meticulous attention to detail, and be responsive to business leaders. Should solve legal/business problems while protecting the company.
