Director, Senior Attorney, Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Duties: Collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Privacy Office on all cybersecurity incident response activities, including continually updating the incident response plan, advising the incident response team in real time with containing and remediating potential incidents, and determining legal and reputational risks and requirements associated with all potential incidents. Partner with the CISO and Privacy Office on the Company's cybersecurity and data protection strategy and assist IT and the business with the implementation of the strategy at all levels. Support the Privacy Office in conducting data privacy impact and risk assessments for new and existing business processes that involve the processing of personal data. Provide legal advice to all levels of the Company, including senior leadership, on all cybersecurity and data privacy issues. Work with the enterprise data team on implementing and maturing our data governance capabilities. Create and/or update enterprise-wide policies, procedures and standards for the responsible collection, use, and protection of personal data. Respond to data privacy-related inquiries from regulators, customers, and employees. Manage day-to-day aspects of the Company's Privacy Program, including program operations and governance. Stay current on global privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations and analyze their applicability to the Company. Interface effectively with senior management and communicate complex issues in a manner that a non-expert can understand.

Qualifications: JD Degree from an accredited law school, excellent academic record, and active member in good standing in at least one State Bar; 7 years of experience at one or more top law firms, corporations, or government agencies advising clients on data privacy, protection, and cybersecurity matters. Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience. Demonstrates the highest level of ethics and integrity. CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional) Certification preferred. Experience working with CISOs and Chief Privacy Officers, and responding to and providing legal advice in connection with cybersecurity incidents. Experience drafting cybersecurity incident response plans, responses to regulatory, customer, media and auditor cybersecurity-related inquiries, and data protection frameworks. Experience working with third-party cybersecurity auditors and advisors on assessments and reports. In-depth understanding of current data privacy and cybersecurity trends and legislation, including domestic and international data privacy regulations. Ability to render persuasive, diplomatic, practical, and legally compliant advice in a timely fashion. Superior problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with ability to be highly meticulous and detail-oriented. Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills, collaboration, and negotiation skills. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, changing, and complex environment. Ability to build and facilitate long-term relationships at all levels, both internally and externally. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels, both verbally and written.
