Counsel - Health Insurance Duties: Assist with overall corporate compliance and governance for various legal entities, with a particular focus on Wellfleet, a's ubsidiary of focused on health insurance. Provide counsel to functions and business divisions on legal, compliance, regulatory and business matters. Engage as counsel for Wellfleet in conjunction with the Chief Legal Officer of Wellfleet, and any other assigned divisions to advise on, develop and execute on all legal matters related to the business divisions assigned. Lead and coordinate corporate initiatives, exams, audits, and other regulatory reviews. Demonstrate's easoned corporate and regulatory experience in the health insurance field on issues's uch as mental health parity, managed care, network adequacy, pharmacy benefits management, etc. Review the legal issues and implications of potential business decisions and initiatives, providing counsel on general business and legal issues. Possess's trong drafting's kills, creating contracts, and other documents as appropriate to's upport business divisions and to address corporate policy and compliance issues. Work with Wellfleet's cross functional team, and any other assigned division, to facilitate proactive and compliant performance of all company objectives. In conjunction with Wellfleet's Chief Legal Officer, as well as's General Counsel, provide legal advice,'s trategies, and's olutions to all business functional areas, including Wellfleet's Market Management, Agency, Marketing, Underwriting, Actuarial, Operations/IT, Finance, PS&RS, Claims, and Human Resources. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: JD degree from an ABA approved law's chool and licensed at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 8-10 years experience in the health insurance field. Excellent oral and written communication's kills. PC literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office's oftware, and Lexis or Westlaw. Good organizational and analytical's kills.'s trong project management's kills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.'s trong legal research and analysis's kills.'s trong business acumen and ability to analyze legal issues from the business perspective. Ability to handle many, varied legal issues at the's ame time in a fast-pace environment. Ability to effectively prioritize assignments in a high-urgency's etting.
