Contracts Attorney

Contracts Attorney Duties: Handle all contracting activities from proposal review to execution, primarily for a range of Clinical Trial Agreements, CRO Master Services Agreements and related Work Orders for your assigned development team. Review and negotiate other agreements related to the research and development efforts of the Company. Develop, utilize and help maintain Legal department templates to draft and negotiate contracts. Serve as a point of contact for contract questions from within the Company. Work in collaboration with contracts management team to address specific contracting issues and improve contract function generally.

Qualifications: A law degree and 3+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing contracts in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry or a similar setting. Experience with clinical trial contracting and working knowledge of GCP and regulatory requirements for clinical trials is required. Proficient skills in MS Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to Work Independently - Able to draft and negotiate contracts independently. Problem Solving and Research Skills - Able to think creatively to find common ground in contract negotiations and ability to conduct research to evaluate applicable laws, rules, regulations and guidelines. Organizational and Communication Skills - Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail Focus on accuracy of details in all contracts. Team Player/Commitment to Cause Understands the big picture and is able to manage position's areas of responsibility in a manner consistent with the Company's agenda. Integrity Capacity to build trust among colleagues; is accountable; lives up to commitments. Interpersonal Skills Relates to employees and management in a cooperative manner that helps others to achieve their best.
