Director, Securities And Corporate Governance Counsel

Director, Securities and Corporate Governance Counsel Duties: Provide in-house legal services for Ltd. Will be a key corporate lawyer for the company with oversight and visibility into financial reporting, corporate governance and corporate secretarial matters. Participate in key strategic opportunities for the company, including M&A and financings.

Qualifications: 7+ years of securities, capital markets or general corporate experience in private practice at well-known law firm or in industry. Experience working in a global matrix environment and partnering with groups such as finance, treasury, strategy, and HR. Securities and corporate finance experience/background essential. Ability to work collaboratively. Good understanding of the commercial, legal and political context in which the company and its subsidiaries operate. Fluency in written and spoken English and Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is preferred. Demonstrated strong communication skills across cross-cultural boundaries and all levels of an organization. Ability to comprehend and interpret policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees and management. Highly developed writing and presentation skills. Project management skills involving tight timescales. Ability to work within challenging deadlines. Results-driven, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
