Counsel, Government Affairs Compliance Duties: Analyze federal, state and local requirements and contractual terms and conditions to support enterprise compliance with appropriate US and global laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedures. Draft memoranda, responses to RFPs, contractual language and other correspondence relating to various compliance processes. Identify and provide advice about legal and regulatory impact on Aramark's commercial contractual risks (e.g., FCA liability). Prepare and disseminate updates and analyses and draft training materials as needed to educate operations, sales and other professionals regarding legal and regulatory updates. Work directly with internal legal, sales, financial, operations, and supply chain personnel. Interface directly with state and local governmental agencies to support accurate and timely filing of various regulatory documents, including licenses, permits and certifications.

Qualifications: JD Degree required. 4+ years of relevant legal experience at a law firm, company, or government agency, preferably with experience with anti-corruption, diverse supplier (M/WBE) requirements, gifts and entertainment, pay to play  filings, lobbying, and compliance with federal contracts/SAM requirements, registrations, and renewals. Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, responsive and client-service focused. Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, as well as persistence and professionalism to support and drive integrity. A self-starter with the ability to multi-task, set priorities in the face of competing demands and meet deadlines. Superior analytical ability and exceptional drafting skills with strong communication (written and oral) skills, including the ability to distill complex regulatory schemes into plain language appropriate for business clients. Seeks additional responsibility, challenging tasks, and/or leadership on projects. Willingness to interact with federal, state, and local government agencies and to learn new skills. Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. Willingness to learn other types of software or applications. Current Pennsylvania bar admission or admission in another jurisdiction with the ability and interest in becoming licensed to practice in Pennsylvania or obtaining Limited In-House Corporate Counsel License.
