Associate Corporate Counsel

Associate Corporate Counsel Responsibilities: Draft, evaluate, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements. Proactively identify and provide risk-weighted advice to business principals that succinctly balances commercial upside against corresponding legal, financial, operational, and reputational risk. Revise established templates to support Mesh's growing commercial contracting needs. Provide legal administrative support to Finance, Operations, and HR. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams as a business partner. Collaborate with and support the General Counsel and the rest of the Legal department to evaluate and communicate legal risks to internal stakeholders and external parties.

Qualifications: A JD Degree or LLM from a leading accredited U.S. law school and a license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 2-3 years of relevant legal experience at a top national law firm and/or in-house legal department. Experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements. Detail-oriented, resourceful with excellent follow-through skills, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Hard-charging, innovative, and comfortable with high levels of responsibility and self-direction. Preferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge of and interest in disruptive technology, financial services, or security; prior experience working in fintech, digital assets or high-growth tech companies. Fund, investment, or emerging companies experience. Proven ability to proactively, efficiently, and accurately assess legal business risks in a fast-paced environment. Track record of creative problem-solving, excellent written and oral communication skills, and creation of strong and trusted cross-functional relationships.
