Corporate Counsel, Corporate Securities and Governance Duties: Serve as the primary owner of all board and governance-related legal matters- Support the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in connection with all corporate legal matters relating to Board of Directors and related committees; Maintain all committee charters and other key governance documents; Evolve, refine and manage corporate governance policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements; Partner with the General Counsel and key stakeholders in connection with corporate structural matters and related decision-making; Own all subsidiary company administration, management and formalities. Qualifications: JD degree. Experience working in a legal capacity within a public company. Experience with M&A preferred. Be a leader in the legal function that helps support legal and risk acumen across the business- Partner with legal and compliance leaders to develop and manage resources toward the manifestation of the foregoing goal; Maintain and foster a deep understanding of AppFolio's business and culture to best enable tailored legal and business advice designed to foster responsible growth in line with the company's long term corporate objectives. Be the primary owner of all public market and securities-related legal and compliance matters affecting the company - In collaboration with key stakeholders, prepare and/or review all SEC filings; Participate in the company's Disclosure Committee; Partner with key stakeholders to develop, evolve, implement and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance; Stay up-to-date with all securities-related legal, regulatory and stock exchange-related developments that may affect the company, and provide tailored advice regarding potential impacts and how best to address them.
