Corporate Counsel Duties: Work closely with various business teams, handling a broad range of commercial legal matters including, general contract and marketing review. Provide legal support and advice concerning regulatory and compliance matters. Draft, review, and negotiate contractual agreements, including the identifying legal and business risks and notifying business partners throughout the contractual review process. Analyze and advise business partners on legal, regulatory, and others matters impacting the business, including applicable federal and state regulatory developments. Respond to ad hoc inquiries including identification, research, analysis, and evaluation of risks in order to provide appropriate legal advice. Perform additional duties as assigned, which may be modified to support business needs.

Qualifications: JD Degree from an ABA accredited institution, with excellent academic credentials Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in Maryland. 3+ years of relevant legal experience at an established law firm or in-house, representing organizations with a demonstrated record of increasing responsibility. Solid foundation in contractual review and negotiation concerning both legal and business issues Ability to work effectively, manage complex projects and multitask successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced and complex business environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Lexis Nexis or Westlaw. Experience in financial services regulatory and compliance matters is a plus.
