Contracts Attorney The candidate will be responsible for the drafting, review, negotiation and management of commercial contracts. The Contracts Attorney will work closely with other contract specialists and attorneys, as well as senior management, finance and business professionals within Company to facilitate timely review and completion of a high volume of contracts with clients and suppliers in accordance with Company policies and standards. This individual will also interface with outside partners and customers in connection with these contracts, and provide legal support and legal advice to Company business units as necessary or requested. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, including agreements with Company's customers, vendors and consultants. Be the advocate, advisor and trusted business partner to our internal teams to address and provide practical legal solutions to commercial issues. Develop and maintain strong, professional working relationships with the sales and operations organizations and other internal stakeholders. Identify risks and concerns while presenting potential alternatives and solutions to challenging transaction matters and business issues. Engage and collaborate proactively and cross-functionally with other business units at all levels throughout the organization to ensure that agreements adequately protect the company's interests. Interpret contract requirements, obligations, and risk exposure and advise the business as to the appropriate course of action. Ensure contracts are consistent with policies and SOPs. Track the status of contracts and projects and regularly communicate to stakeholders. Archive contracts and manage contract databases. Respond to inquiries and requests from a cross-functional team regarding contracts and provide guidance and sound legal advice with good customer service. Interface with external clients and business partners. Track review volume and turnaround time, and report to management. Create, manage and distribute templates and other documents.

The candidate should have Bachelor's Degree in legal studies or business studies. Law Degree and admission to the bar and in good standing in at least one jurisdiction in the United States. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in contract review and management. Should have High proficiency in legal writing; excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook). Minimum of 3 years of direct working experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Demonstrated ability managing and negotiating contracts, preferably in the CRO industry. Understanding of contract process and common business practices. Can-do attitude and ability to perform under tight timer pressure, multitask, comply with deadlines, and manage the expectations of clients. Strong prioritization and organizational skills; excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently and interact confidently with management, business development, operations as well as external clients. Ability to quickly learn new information, and conduct risk/benefit analysis; strong analytical skills; demonstrated business acumen. Skills in Mandarin, while not a requirement, are also desirable.
