Associate Corporate Counsel, Public Sector

Associate Corporate Counsel, Public Sector Responsibilities: Support the Firm's public sector sales and partner teams, negotiating technology licensing agreements with U.S. Federal agencies, state and local governments, and other public sector customers worldwide, and systems integrators, distributors, and solution providers selling to such customers.

Basic Qualifications: A J.D. and admitted to at least one State Bar. 2+ years of transactional experience, preferably within a regulated industry. Knowledge of general laws relating to government contracting / transactions and compliance. Preferred Qualifications: Strong technology licensing experience. In-house experience at a technology company or in a private technology group. A background in software licensing (including open source), web services/cloud computing, or telecommunications is preferred. Experience negotiating and drafting technology licensing agreements with public sector resellers, distributors, and systems integrators serving United States Federal agencies, state / local government, and other public sector customers.
