Corporate Counsel

Corporate Counsel Duties: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements. Assisting various business functions, including sales, business development, finance, product management, operations, supply chain, and quality navigate legal, regulatory and other compliance issues.. Assisting Aspen's compliance team with securities laws and reporting; creating, maintaining or advising on relevant policies and procedures. Supporting litigation, company secretarial, regulatory, and employment matters. Performing a variety of additional ad hoc legal matters as necessary.

Qualifications: JD Degree from an accredited law school and admission with good standing to a state Bar, preferably Massachusetts. 5+ years of experience in-house or at a law firm. Pre-law school business experience a plus. Experience with commercial contracts and advising businesses on legal issues either in a law firm or in-house setting. A practical problem solver. Robust legal acumen with a business common sense approach. Ability to thrive on challenge and react promptly and positively to a fast-paced work culture. Ability to manage tasks with high attention to detail. Flexible and proactive approach to problem solving and quickly adjust to shifting priorities and demanding deadlines. High integrity and strong work ethic.
