Corporate Counsel

Corporate Counsel The candidate will assess proposed commercial transactions and develops deal structures to minimize legal and business risks. Draft and negotiate complex agreements in relation to a wide range of commercial activities including sales contracts, distributor agreements, supplier agreements, licensing, confidentiality, real estate, consulting or employment contracts, etc. Support corporate development team with mergers and acquisitions Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school; Minimum of 3 years of experience with reputable law firm and/or corporate legal department; Licensed to practice law in the United States, a member in good standing with a State bar, and the ability to become a member of the Wisconsin State bar,. 5 years of experience with reputable law firm and/or corporate legal department; Excellent academic credentials, Effective negotiation, communication, and drafting skills; High work capacity and passion for the job, in addition to high ethical and moral standards. Previous experience in a global manufacturing environment and publicly-traded company preferred; Prior M&A experience preferred; Previous experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department preferred.
