Senior Corporate Counsel - Compliance

Senior Corporate Counsel - Compliance Responsibilities: Help build, automate, operate, and monitor the effectiveness of critical compliance processes. Support the Company's anti-corruption programs, including working with the business requestor to understand the proposed activities, evaluating them, and making recommendations to senior management. Manage the Company's policy management system. Support the Company's partner and vendor diligence programs. Assist with the Company's document retention program. Help manage compliance and ethics training. Initial point of contact for employees compliance inquiries. Help ensure that the Company's core compliance policies and operating standards are effectively created, implemented, and enforced. Partner closely with compliance partners on the Finance, Security, Internal Audit, and HR teams. Partner with the Legal Operations and IT teams to automate and enhance compliance controls.

Qualifications: A J.D. from an Accredited Law School. Membership in at least one State Bar, and ability to practice in California. 5-8 years of professional experience, ideally focusing on compliance matters such as DOJ compliance programs or anti-corruption. Law firm experience. In-house experience is a plus. Technical savvy with the ability to quickly learn and operate new systems. Ability to explain complicated concepts in simple terms. Comfort working in an extremely fast-paced environment.
