Health, Safety and Environmental Regulatory Attorney Duties: Provide general business counsel to executive business leaders in the responsibility areas of HSE. Develop regulatory processes by identifying, analyzing, tracking, and applying new and emerging HSE laws, regulations, guidelines, and procedures. Provide legal support on HSE components of corporate transactions and investment transactions. Identify and recommend HSE compliance and management strategies and performance improvement recommendations that support overall corporate strategy to key business leaders. Interface with external stakeholders and customers on HSE topics. Develop HSE policies, programs, process management tools and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications: J.D. from accredited law school and active bar license, required. 5-15 years of relevant experience, required. Contract development and review along with legal research experience, are required. Previous in-house legal experience not required; government, law firm, consulting firm and in-house experience are all welcome. CERCLA (and similar) and tort litigation experience, a plus. Negotiation experience with regulators, and understanding of REACH/TSCA laws, a plus. Relevant industry experience, a plus. Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to develop, deliver and manage communications internally and externally. Excel in strategic thinking skills and ability to complete risk assessment and auditing in a timely manner. Works efficiently, under pressure, with varying degrees of supervision, and manages projects with competing deadlines in a dynamic environment. Ability to communicate in multiple languages and experience effectively communicating with the multiple US and European cultures, a plus.
