Corporate Counsel The candidate will represent the organization on a variety of legal matters in support of company's Strategic Transactions, Emerging Products, and Messaging business units. Will be part of the team and provide day-to-day legal advice, draft a variety of complex agreements, manage the resolution of legal disputes, support multiple operational initiatives, and work cross-functionally with other legal teams. This role also requires the ability to work collaboratively with leadership to advise on legal matters and solve problems. Negotiate and draft complex agreements and transactions. Advise the business in assessing short-term goals in the context of long-term goals. Help drive departmental initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor for several specialty areas within the sales and distribution organization. Effectively and efficiently work with other in-house subject matter experts and outside legal counsel. Think like the Uncarrier in the context of all that you do for T-Mobile, with a solution-oriented approach to all matters. Should have J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, with admission to the state bar and the ability to become a licensed attorney or in-house counsel in applicable state jurisdictions (Washington, Kansas, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, or Texas). JD/MBA preferred. Must have 2-4 years of experience as a business attorney, with relevant in-house and/or law firm experience. Should have experience handling transactional matters and often a high volume or high complexity of work with the ability to prioritize, work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced sales environment. Able to handle diverse projects in unrelated areas.
