Corporate Legal Counsel The candidate will be responsible for all legal matters and operations. Draft, review, negotiate, and approve transactional documents for the company; advise executive team on legal risks and concepts and implications of significant, complex contracts. Advise the company on all matters of employment law across multiple states. Provide advice, counsel, and recommendations to senior management on a variety of matters to manage legal risks and conflicts; assist in dispute resolution. Ensure compliance and assist on issues related to privacy and data protection laws. Interpret, apply, and recommend changes to organizational policies and procedures. Entity management and formation. Miscellaneous duties as assigned, including intellectual property portfolio management.

The candidate must have a Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and 3-5 years of corporate legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department. Must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona or able to qualify for and register as in-house counsel in Arizona. Background in the technology sector preferred. Experience working with a remote/distributed workforce; working collaboratively in a diverse and complex environment with non-lawyers; and managing outside counsel desired. Should preferably have experience working with international companies. The ability to multi-task, work independently, and work in a fast-paced environment with a solution-oriented approach is required. Should have excellent oral and written communication skills.
