Corporate Counsel

Corporate Counsel Duties: Research and analyze legal issues in the areas of employment law, contract law, environmental law, general litigation, and intellectual property. Write legal memoranda, case summaries, and policy documents as issues arise in the various legal areas within the office. Prepare, negotiate and review various legal instructions and documents, such as contracts, leases, licenses, purchases, sales, real estate, etc. Advise internal clients on aspects of employment, contract and environmental law. Assist with litigation discovery. Investigate and respond to charges of employment discrimination. Participate in day-to-day efforts of the legal team.

Qualifications: Graduation from ABA-accredited law school with strong academic performance. 2-5 years of experience in corporate, employment, or commercial contract legal work. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be goal-oriented and exhibit a high level of professionalism. Detail-oriented, creative, articulate, personable with excellent organization and research skills. Must be dependable and reliable in meeting target deliverables according to schedule and expectations.
