Corporate Counsel Duties: Supporting, serving as lead counsel on a variety of matters, including negotiating strategic technology transactions, fleet procurement, and other commercial deals; acting as counsel for fleet programs and operations; and advising on fleet deployment, safety, and regulatory compliance and policy issues. Helping the business teams develop programs and tools to continually improve the delivery experience and safety of drivers, customers, and the broader community. Developing strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and you will build processes that address risk and provide us with the flexibility and freedom to move quickly.

Qualifications: J.D. degree from an accredited law school and membership in one state Bar. 5+ years of legal experience at a law firm, corporation, military, or similar experience. Preferred: A mix of corporate law firm and in-house experience (ideally in a start-up or other rapid-growth phase) is a plus, with experience in technology transactions, product counseling, and/or privacy. Ability to work effectively and demonstrate sound judgment in fast-paced, ambiguous situations. Ability to work independently while contributing successfully to cross-functional teams. Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow-through, and meet deadlines. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical and computer skills.
