Real Estate Counsel The candidate will work on diversified security transactions concerning private equity and infrastructure investments are also expected. Represent and advise the company in substantial transactions which require legal expertise and generally involve a high degree of original and creative legal endeavor. Lead complex deal transactions while adhering to strict deadlines. Maintain current knowledge of legal issues and developments in the law. Mentor and teach junior attorneys. Completion of law school with a J.D. or L.L.B. degree and admission to the Bar of at least one jurisdiction in the United States required. Must be a highly qualified attorney with 10+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in complex alternative real estate joint-venture development and real estate fund transactions. Should have extensive experience in structuring and negotiating complex real estate transactions. Experience in corporate legal department or firm required. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to conduct research and analysis of legal issues is needed.
