Senior Corporate Counsel

Senior Corporate Counsel Duties: Be embedded with the Kuiper team and leading the legal support for Kuiper's engagement and negotiation with public sector customers, as well as advise on the implementation of related compliance programs including supporting the Kuiper team with responding to requests for information, responding to requests for proposals, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and negotiating agreements with U.S. federal agencies and other public sector customers. Regularly advising on government contracting issues and collaborating with other attorneys to ensure strategic decisions are effectively executed. Developing the strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.

Qualifications: J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active membership in one state Bar. 10+ years experience as an attorney focused on government contracts or related compliance matters Preferred Qualifications: A mix of law firm and in-house experience is a plus. Experience negotiating non-commercial USG contracts. Experience negotiating design/development USG contracts. Experience negotiating IP/data rights in USG contracts. Experience with the FAR, TINA, and CASS. Experience with bid protests. Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams.
