Lead Counsel, Privacy M&a

Lead Counsel, Privacy M&A Responsibilities: Conduct privacy M&A due diligence and work cross functionally on all M&A related matters for and its affiliates. Partner with cross functional partners like Product, Corporate Development, Privacy, Policy, and Integration teams through the lifecycle of M&A transactions. Support major M&A transactions and complex strategic initiatives. Support and manage internal M&A and privacy initiatives and policies. Coordinate and manage outside domestic and international privacy counsel.

Qualifications: JD degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US state Bar. 5+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience. Experience with global privacy laws, regulations and privacy programs. Preferred Qualifications: Technical or engineering background or experience. Experience with M&A activities, and regulatory or product counseling. Experience using business judgment and with client counseling. Experience advancing projects in a multi-stakeholder environment. Experience prioritizing work and providing advice under deadlines.
