Privacy and Staff Attorney Duties and Responsibilities: Transition through coordination with responsible Senior Managing Attorney to become primary internal legal contact for Company privacy compliance matters. Advise Company Privacy Committee on matters of physical and cybersecurity issues. Advise and coordinate with Company Privacy Committee on security training provided to Company employees. Advise Company Officials, as needed, on cybersecurity issues. Remain up to date in evolving State and Federal privacy regulations. Assist with domestic acquisitions under the direction of responsible Senior Managing Attorney. Draft appropriate Asset and Stock Purchase Agreements, and as needed, coordinate due diligence reviews and necessary documentation. Serve as closing attorney on acquisitions. Gather required documents and signatures. Assist in franchise operations under the direction of responsible Senior Managing Attorney. Draft necessary franchise and franchise buy-back documents and related supporting documentation. Assist and advise Acquisition Director in routine operational matters. Assist and advise Franchise Director in routine operational matters. Perform other legal and managerial duties as assigned. Receive and review assigned contracts, conduct legal analysis evaluation, and render advice and recommendations to the business team. Work directly with US business teams (corporate office and field) to implement contract execution. Work towards providing contract training for business teams. Evaluate modifications to the contract review process and language for contract templates. Manage outside legal counsel engaged by the Company on matters requiring specialized knowledge or expertise. Develop self-service tools and conduct training for internal stakeholders or business partners on a variety of legal, contractual, and compliance issues

Qualifications: Must possess and exercise (i) good independent judgment and discretion, strategic planning, and analytic skills to render objective business decisions; (ii) strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and flexibility, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the Company operations and management; (iii) strong project management, customer service, and organizational; (iv) ability to work independently as well as part of a team; (v) ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple responsibilities simultaneously, while maintaining high quality of performance and customer service; and (vi) proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Nuance, Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Outlook).
