Corporate Counsel, Litigation & Dispute Resolution Responsibilities: Oversight and day-to-day responsibility for certain litigation matters. Conduct confidential investigations and supervise outside counsel on litigated matters, including real estate, business, employment, and general liability litigation. Lead contract negotiations for the business team, as assigned. Provide strategic guidance to the business team from a legal perspective. Responsible for coordinating across business units for risk management issues, dispute resolution and other similar matters. Draft, negotiate, and close real estate transactions on an as-needed basis. Assist with leasing and disposition for company's real estate assets. Assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications: Deep and varied experience with all aspects of general corporate law, and ideal candidate will have significant experience in commercial real estate. Significant experience drafting and negotiating agreements. Interest in learning about and supporting the broad legal demands of a business. Strong understanding of basic business principles. Strong computer skills: Excel, Power Point, Word, online research tools. Ability to manage complex workload and prioritize appropriately. Ability to work well and collaborate with others. Ability to work well independently and identify opportunities to create and improve systems without direction. Highly developed organizational and analytical skills. Keen attention to detail. Strong interpersonal communication skills, both informal and in presentation. Ability to maintain confidential information. Excellent writing ability. Should have J.D. from a highly regarded law school. At least 5 years of experience in real estate legal practice, preferably also experience working on commercial real estate transactions. Licensed to practice law or able to become licensed in Texas.
