Associate Corporate Counsel

Associate Corporate Counsel Duties: Work directly with customers, vendors, partners and others to manage and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements. Collaborate with executive and senior team members to provide advice and professional guidance on risks and suitability of contracts toward the attainment of company goals. Verify all documents and contracts to ensure they meet high levels of quality and accuracy. Support the development of internal policies and guidelines for contract management. Support mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other growth-inspired transactions. Assist General Counsel as needed.

Qualifications: JD Degree, active Bar licensure. 1-3 years of attorney experience drafting and negotiating contracts with a strong emphasis on software licensing, technical services, IT and SaaS contracts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven sound judgement and business sense. Must be highly proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Must thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize. Nice to have: Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry. Familiarity with data privacy laws in UK, Europe, US and Canada.
