Senior Corporate Counsel - Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end domestic and international M&A activities and other strategic transactions from inception through integration. Partner with Corporate Development and Integration teams and manage cross-functional legal experts to execute transactions. Support corporate governance activities related to M&A and other strategic transactions. Identify and resolve highly complex legal, regulatory, and business issues requiring highly specialized knowledge and judgment. Acts as a master of M&A and other strategic transactions by networking effectively to share subject matter expertise across a broad cross-section of the organization. Manage outside legal counsel.

Qualifications: JD degree; meets local legal license requirements. Typically, 9+ years legal experience at a law firm or in-house in relevant practice areas. Mix of law firm and in-house experience a plus. Significant experience managing multiple, complex, strategic, specialty law projects, issues, and transactions. Mastery of practical and academic knowledge within M&A and other strategic transactions, and a recognized authority in one or more sub-areas within M&A. Developed understanding of how to operate successfully in an international legal environment. Mastery in negotiating or advising senior representatives of external and internal organizations on complex and high value/risk matters. Excellent presentation, facilitation, and networking skills. A proactive approach to recognizing needs, anticipating issues, and solving problems.
