Contracts Manager Attorney The candidate will maintain objectivity, integrity, and independence in decision-making with direct reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing. Oversee the team developing proposals and responses to RFQs for all facilities. Work toward an integrated process and system among sites to increase consistency and predictability. Review and coordinate the flow of information between multiple internal departments (Legal, Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Finance) and customers while implementing measures to resolve problems, meet commitments, and achieve customer satisfaction. Develop processes that encourage collaboration and problem solving with other corporate functions and integrate inputs from various sources into consistently successful proposals. Establish measurement and functional performance goals for staff to include career development, recruiting and staff retention, providing regular feedback/coaching, and conducting performance reviews. Work with Contracts and Sales team on terms and conditions, negotiation, and acceptance of contracts and orders.

The candidate should have a ?JD degree from an accredited law school approved by the American Bar Association. Be licensed to practice law from the Virginia State Bar. Must have 3+ years of legal or contracts experience. Must have the ability to resolve complex contractual issues matters, perform business risk assessments, and implement recommendations. The ability to work with a variety of stakeholders at different levels in the organization, manage assignments without close supervision, manage external counsel and consultant relationships and collaborate with internal clients is required. Must have proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint), Adobe Pro. Knowledge of ERP systems/databases is a plus. The ability to work under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines is essential. Must have analytical ability and strong attention to detail. Excellent decision-making, problem-solving skills, and negotiation skills are needed.
