Corporate Counsel, Contracts and People Responsibilities: Follow and execute on day-to-day direction provided by the Director. Review, interpret, and understand Company obligations under its various contracts and arrangements. Draft, revise, negotiate and give counsel on a variety of different contracts for all business departments, including real estate, Inspirato Experiences, events, marketing, technology, People Operations, and the executive team. Explain contract terms, conditions, rights, and obligations to legal and business personnel and make recommendations with respect to contract terms; ability to identify potential risks and legal issues, seeking and relying on prior experience and judgment with respect to appropriate risk identification and mitigation for the Company. Maintain knowledge base of new laws and employment litigation developments and trends in the industry. Advise People Operations and the executive team on day-to-day employment law issues including employee relations issues, wage and labor laws, Covid-19, leaves of absence, terminations, discipline, reasonable accommodations, non-compliance, reductions in force, and employee benefits. Regularly advise on exposure, possible outcomes and preferable strategies for employment issues and disputes. Manage employment disputes and litigation. Conduct reviews of litigation and disputes with management after outcome and advise HR and management on learnings and process improvements. Consulting with management, internal business clients, accountants and marketing staff on legal issues, including employment issues. Research jurisdictional employment rules, regulations and issues. Develop and oversee corrective actions to completion for any deficiencies resulting from an audit. Work collaboratively and professionally with all members of the Company and third parties. Adhere to and support standards and goals of Legal Department. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: JD Degree from accredited law school, membership in one state Bar. 3-7 years ? experience working in a corporate, legal, law firm, or in-house setting. Significant experience in employment law, reviewing and drafting legal documents, and managing legal affairs, including outside counsel. Excellent communication, project management, organization and multi-tasking skills. A passion for both the in-house practice of law, employment law, and the travel industry. Experience in employment law is preferred. Proven expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite; experience with review/comparison software, such as Workshare, preferred. Ability to master and CRM platform e.g., Salesforce.com. Complete understanding and proficiency of management principles necessary to successfully manage projects through to completion, including the ability to work through unforeseen injects and hurdles. Ability to solve problems independently and as part of a team; must be able to identify solutions in a timely manner. Detail oriented; clear and concise oral and written English language communication skills required, including proper grammar and e-mail etiquette. Able to demonstrate a clear ability to create presentations that succinctly demonstrate the essence of the material being presented. Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation, work well in collaborative group situations. Adapt to changes and pressures in the work environment; manage competing demands, and changes in approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, high pressure conditions, and effectively and professionally handle stressful situations, delays, or unexpected events; appreciates opportunity to adjust and adapt with growing business.
