Lead Counsel, Labor and Employment The candidate will provide counseling and support to HR Business Partners, Employee Relations Business Partners, and the business on employee terminations, performance management, investigations, accommodations, reorganizations, and other employment-related matters. Collaborate with other attorneys on the team with respect to advice and counseling provided to HR and other cross-functional partners. Coordinate and manage employment-related projects, including internal process reviews, new policy roll-outs and implementation, and training programs. Draft and edit employment-related documents, correspondence, agreements and processes. Manage legal risks and provide solutions for resolving employment disputes. Participate in the creation and delivery of training related to employment law matters, such as harassment training and other manager training on a variety of topics. Manage and drive strategy on pre-litigation and litigation matters.

The candidate should have a J.D. degree and membership in at least one State Bar. Should have 5+ years of experience in labor and employment law. Experience with state and federal employment law and advising and counseling clients on such laws. Employment litigation experience and experience coordinating and driving to complete large-scale projects (including litigations). New York or California Bar Membership is preferred. In-house legal department experience is preferred.
