Senior Counsel, Privacy

Senior Counsel, Privacy Duties: Provide guidance on and drive compliance efforts relating to global privacy and data security regulations and standards. Work with partners and internal stakeholders to build and evolve a scalable privacy program. Counsel partners on privacy and security incident preparedness and management. Work closely with government relations team to research and track global privacy and security legislation, evolving regulations, and enforcement and provide feedback and practical advice to partners. Administration and resolution of privacy issues that arise in all manner of commercial relationships. Maintain and update privacy statements. Create and deliver privacy training content.

Qualifications: Member of a State bar, preferably California. Mid-level attorney with 5+ years experience in well-regarded law firm and/or in-house legal department. Privacy counseling experience and deep knowledge of applicable privacy regulations. Ability to collaborate on multiple projects with short deadlines simultaneously. Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional projects. Highly responsive and service oriented with excellent legal and business judgment.
