Corporate and Commercial Counsel Duties: Work independently to support various business units with a wide variety of commercial contracting, including drafting and negotiating agreements with customers, vendors and strategic partners .Counsel internal business clients in connection with complex commercial transactions and partnerships.Assist with advising on employment law matters, privacy and data security, real estate, marketing, trademark, and any other legal matters that arise.Manage and coordinate legal efforts on strategic transactions including financings, acquisitions and joint-ventures.Assist with corporate governance, oversight and compliance. Qualifications: 3-5 years of commercial contracting experience in an in-house legal department, including procurement support for in-bound transactions. 3-5 years of health care, IT, procurement, and legal operations experience. Broad experience in a variety of commercial transactions, with strong knowledge of health care industry, procurement, logistics, IT, and marketing. Passion and demonstrated experience creating scalable legal systems, processes and tools that enhance working relationship with cross functional teams. Communicate effectively with stakeholders in a manner that builds, maintains and enhances a positive working relationship. Eager to learn new subject and apply knowledge to create/improve/simplify processes. Strong technical skills, including all G-Suite applications, Jira, and Contractworks. Capable of working effectively with a team and also delivering results independently. Demonstrated commitment to diversity in the legal profession. Superior writing and oral communication skills. Self-motivated, independent, and resourceful. Possess exceptional organizational skills, the ability to deliver to deadlines, and the acumen to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision. Thrives in ambiguous circumstances. Smart, hard-working, data-driven and detail-oriented .
