Associate Counsel Contracts Duties: Prepares, negotiates and finalizes PPD clinical service agreements; site/investigator clinical trial agreements and/or other related documentation; assess legal risks and provides recommendations and alternative mitigating resolutions to departmental management. Make recommendations to Executive Management with regard to risks, strategies and recommendations. Qualifications: JD Degree, Licensure by a state bar; and 2+ years of experience with a law firm or company having direct experience in contract drafting and negotiation or other relevant legal/regulatory experience; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail with proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. Flexible and able to reprioritize workload to meet changing project needs. Responsible for understanding and adhering to PPD and Client SOPs, WPDs and other regulations for all aspects of project implementation, execution and closeout. Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word. Excellent English and grammar skills. Excellent analytical and decision based thinking. Strong drafting and negotiation skills. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to provide direction and training. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in written form, with all levels of management and Company clients. Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people in a comprehensible and reasonable manner. Able to work upright and stationary for typical working hours. Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency. Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities.
