Corporate Counsel- Federal Candidate will be the primary Legal support to's Federal team in its pursuit of Federal contracts. Serve as subject matter expert for compliance with Federal contracting compliance requirements. Will develop and execute policies, processes and procedures for compliance with Federal contracting requirements. Will coordinate cross-functionally across with Sales, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, and People Operations to support the company's growth in the Federal market. Support development, implementation, and maintenance of contract lifecycle management system. Advise on federal regulatory compliance for business organizations. Research and advise on corporate governance practices, including federal contractual compliance. Perform general legal research and analyze associated impact on the company. Qualifications: JD Degree from an accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials. Admission to a State Bar within the United States. 5+ years of corporate, transactional, and compliance experience in the federal space. Proven experience drafting and negotiating transactions with the federal government. Deep understanding and experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Understanding of and experience with multiple award contracting, including Federal GSA schedule management considerations (e.g. preparing Commercial Sales Practices submissions, IFF reporting, subsequent GSA schedule requirements monitoring). Analytical, administrative and managerial skills and ability. Excellent research, writing, analytical, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Excellent attention to detail, self-starter, and ability to work independently. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and contract lifecycle management systems. Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment. Success working as part of a team and ability to handle multiple projects and assignments. Intellectual horsepower, bias for action, pass-first attitude.
