Senior Manager, Contracts Attorneys Duties: The candidate is responsible for providing legal advice and support in all aspects of commercial contracting across the Pharma Services business on either a global or regional basis. Providing support for the Viral Vector Services and Microbial Manufacturing Services businesses within Pharma Services together with other Pharma Services businesses as required. Supporting commercial contracts either through leading the drafting, review, and negotiation of development and manufacturing services contracts or by supporting and advising the Contracts Management team in reviewing and negotiating contracts. Contributing to the development of contract templates and playbooks for use across Pharma Services. Working cross-functionally with Division and Group level Legal, Commercial, Sales, Business Management, Finance, Operations, Quality, and Contracts Management to negotiate and close contracts that meet company policies and legal requirements and achieve profitable growth for Pharma Services.

Qualifications: The candidate should have a Law degree obtained in a North American or European jurisdiction from an internationally recognized University/law school. Applicable legal licensure and the Bar membership. Must have 5+ years of Post Qualification Experience (preferably in-house or in a full-service international law firm), preferably in the life science sector. Awareness of European and US laws and regulations applicable to CMO operations (including cGMP) would be an advantage. Experience delivering on project commitments. Experience leading negotiations and closing deals. Experience with successful contracts legal advice, including advising on complex proposals, negotiating terms, and managing contract changes. Legal, Contracts Management, Commercial Operations (including, Sales, Quotes/Proposals, Business Management), Finance, Divisional Presidents, Divisional General Managers, Operations, the Firm's Risk Management, and Quality. Customers / Suppliers and their respective contract personnel and/or attorneys. Excellent analytical contract and business skills with above-average oral and written communications skills to support contract negotiations at all levels. Must be proficient in English. Demonstrated ability and experience drafting/reviewing commercial agreements. Demonstrated ability to achieve positive results through influence, negotiation, and change management. Understanding the legal consequence of contract terms and the likely result in the event of any litigation/arbitration. Proven ability to develop collaborative and productive relationships both internally and within third-party organizations. Demonstrated success working within complex organizations. Ability to manage time and competing priorities including handling several assignments concurrently. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Strong attention to detail and sound administrative abilities. Demonstrated proficiency with the latest MS Office products, including Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, Word, Excel, and related electronic tools for editing, documenting, tracking, and communicating.
