Intellectual Property and Licensing Counsel Responsibilities: Conceptualization and negotiation of collaboration and licensing agreements. Managing IP aspects of existing customer partnerships. Coordination and oversight of new patent filings and ongoing prosecution. Oversight of freedom-to-operate studies.

Qualifications: Admission to any state ar. 5+ years of experience, including some experience at a law firm (Candidates with ten or more years of experience will be considered for the Senior IP and Licensing Counsel role). Solid understanding of molecular biology. Substantial legal experience in the biopharmaceutical and cell-based therapeutics industry (therapeutics, vaccines, diagnostics) - transaction and licensing experience preferred. Admission to the patent bar preferred. Understanding of the current approaches to gene and cell therapy. Excellent oral, written and negotiation skills.
