Corporate Counsel

Corporate Counsel Duties: Partner with business and commercial team, clinical research, medical affairs, supply chain to advance key initiatives. Review, negotiate and manage a high volume of NDAs and clinical trial contracts as well other commercials, supply, advisory, confidentiality, and IT, vendor agreements. Review and negotiate agreements and contracts with universities, research institutions, and suppliers. Advise various internal stakeholders on contracts that involve business and legal issues. Contribute to various special projects, as needed.

Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in the life sciences, Juris Doctor from an accredited university, and admittance to the California Bar. Must have 3 years of legal experience (large law firm or in-house) within the life sciences field. Demonstrated experience negotiating, and executing complex clinical, and transactional. Strong understanding of contracting within life science companies, including supply, R&D, licensing, and commercial partnership agreements. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding business judgment with the ability to generate creative and pragmatic solutions while anticipating the impact of decisions. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a variety of complex matters and projects simultaneously.
