Senior Corporate Counsel Responsibilities: Draft, review, edit, and negotiate all types of agreements, from standard to complex, including sales, OEM, licensing, and other agreements. Coordinate with and seek feedback and input from subject matter experts across to complete contract reviews and approvals. Provide responsive and effective legal support and counsel to all of's departments as needed, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and clinical research departments. Work with commercial operations on bid terms and respond to government contracting inquiries. Identify legal risks and recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies. Interpret and advise on law and policies. Prepare and provide training on various compliance and legal topics. Ensure compliance with U.S. and international laws and regulations and policies and procedures. Support global subsidiaries, business initiatives, and expansion. Manage and direct outside counsel as appropriate. Perform special projects as assigned.

Qualifications: A Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school with a strong academic record is required. Admission and member in good standing of a State Bar and qualified to practice as in-house counsel in California. 3+ years at a large law firm, contract litigation experience is preferred. Significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts. Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication, research, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with sales and subject matter experts. Practical, logical, and efficient problem solver. Strong work ethic, team player, and positive attitude. Organized and keen attention to detail. Results-oriented, self-motivated, and self-directed. Able to handle multiple concurrent assignments, and assume personal responsibility for deliverables under tight deadlines, working well under pressure in a rapidly changing environment. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years at a large law firm, contract litigation experience is a plus. 3+ years of experience, within or for a highly regulated industry such as medical device, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals. Knowledge of and experience with laws and regulations applicable to public medical technology companies, such as FDA, Anti-Kickback, False Claims Act, Antitrust, SEC, Federal Trade Commission laws and regulations. Experience with a wide variety of contracts, including commercial, clinical research, and technology. Excellent project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
