Senior Counsel, Enterprise Risk Management - Litigation Duties: Have the opportunity to transition from other private, public, government, or military environments to a company's career. An experienced litigator in complex litigation joining a fast-paced, cross-functional team of other lawyers and legal professionals to jointly manage risk for the firm. Strategically managing complex litigation surrounding critical business issues, including supervising outside counsel and consultants and carefully managing budgets. Proactively advising the firm's business and Legal Affairs colleagues regarding litigation and global company risk. Partnering with the firm's business and specialist lawyers to mitigate risk. Contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the global team.

Required Qualifications: Juris Doctor degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited law school required. Must have 10+ years of civil litigation practice. Trial and appellate court experience in state and federal courts, in a private, public, government, or military environment. Desired Qualifications: Experience serving as in-house counsel or as national or coordinating counsel for significant litigation, including large-scale discovery and cross-border issues. Environmental or products liability experience. Experience managing or coordinating large teams. Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, including business leaders, department leaders, and director-level management. Long-term, strategic, and practical thinker. Self-starter with the ability to triage and manage time-sensitive matters simultaneously and effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate transparently, efficiently, and effectively at all levels within a team environment. Honesty and unwavering integrity. Sense of humor, curiosity, and a drive for continuous improvement. Currently admitted to practice law in relevant jurisdictions or eligible to become so within 6 months.
