Corporate Counsel, Senior I Responsibilities: Provide practical advice and counsel on a full range of employment matters, both domestically and internationally, including recruiting, hiring, training, performance management, employee relations, employee mobility, disability and religious accommodations, compensation, benefits, M&A, investigations, disciplinary actions, terminations, and reductions in force. Provide legal guidance on a wide range of employment laws and regulations, including FEHA, OFCCP, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA. Draft and revise employment documents, policies, and processes, and collaborate with internal stakeholders, to maximize efficiency and scalability across the organization and the regions. Assist with investigations and the mitigation of data leakage related to employee mobility. Collaborate cross-functionally with other subject matter experts within the Legal Department and across the organization. Partner with the Legal Team, management, and key departments in connection with the development and delivery of relevant training to employees. Supervise and work closely with outside counsel, both domestic and international, to identify and minimize legal risks while navigating strategic business objectives.

Qualifications: JD degree from an ABA-accredited university, and member in good standing of the California Bar. Should preferably have 4-7 years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house law department; experience with multinational employment law matters is a plus. Deep subject matter expertise with respect to a wide range of employment law issues. High level of integrity, professionalism, and trust, including in dealing with complex and sensitive matters. Excellent writing and communication skills. Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-resolution skills, with the ability to think strategically while balancing business needs with legal risk. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to communicate effectively and to work as part of cross-functional teams, inspire confidence in others, and think creatively to resolve multi-faceted situations.
