Lead Counsel, Labor And Employment, Cross-Functional Team - Contingent Workforce Responsibilities: Partner with and support the Contingent Workforce team to advise, educate, and influence a wide range of contingent workforce issues. Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as other attorneys, Contingent Workforce Business Partners, and key stakeholders in the business on all legal issues impacting contingent worker issues, and provide guidance and support to ensure consistency and compliance. Identify issues proactively based on discussions with clients and business partners. Provide legal advice, counsel, and support to key partners on alternative work arrangements and union/work council/organized labor issues as needed. Coordinate and drive to complete large-scale projects (including claims and litigations). Draft position statements and agency responses. Monitor legislation, regulations, case law, and government enforcement activities relating to the above substantive legal areas, and provide proactive, strategic advice to the Global Employment Law Group and relevant stakeholders. Lead privileged internal audits and process reviews, and new policy creation and implementation related to the Contingent Workforce Program. Draft and/or contingent workforce program-related documents, policies, and processes. Facilitate process improvements, create efficiencies, and provide training as necessary.

Qualifications: J.D. Degree and active membership in at least one state Bar. 3+ years of post-qualification legal experience in labor and employment law. Experience providing legal advice and counsel on contingent worker issues/matters. Experience with employment laws. In-house legal department experience is preferred. Experience defending state and federal agency charges and claims, or employment litigation is desired. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including experience building trust with team members and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
