Contracts Attorney

Contracts Attorney The candidate will develop and refine standard contracts, including master service agreements and statements of work, that appropriately protect the firm s interests. Negotiate on client paper when warranted. Work closely with sales and account executives to find suitable business terms. Exhibit strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Train managers and executives in contracting best practices. Ensure contracts comply with federal and state regulations. Should have a Juris Doctor from an accredited institution. Current State Bar certification. Should have 3-5 years of client contract experience. Experience in business services is preferred, particularly with SaaS agreements. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented and manage priorities. First-rate communication skills, both verbal and written, including an ability to explain contract law in everyday language. Excellent computer skills, primarily Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, Slack. Capacity to interact effectively with various departments and clients. Ability to plan, organize and carry out multiple related activities simultaneously with an appropriate sense of urgency.
