Corporate Counsel Responsibilities: Assist in protecting the organization's legal interest and maintaining its operations within the law. Support CEO by providing advice to executive staff and managers. Responsible for identifying and analyzing legal issues, drafting and reviewing key documents, presenting clear recommendations, legal research, and assuring legal compliance. Responsible for prosecuting and defending all protest, arbitration, and litigation matters. Manage all aspects of the corporate IP portfolio, including patent and trademarks applications. Manage litigation, arbitration, and protest matters by developing strategies, engaging stakeholders, reviewing key documents, coordinating e-discovery, and supervising outside counsel. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Will perform a variety of legal and compliance-related tasks. Ability to independently complete tasks with minimal supervisory oversight. Responsible for identifying and pursuing bid protests, contract claims, and Requests for Equitable Adjustments. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 4-year degree (business-related field preferred) from an accredited college. JD from an American Bar Association accredited law school. Admission to the current state bar association in good standing. 2+ years of litigation experience in a corporate or law firm environment. Ability to receive and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. Desired: Experience in a government contracting environment preferred. Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), knowledge of FARS/DFARS are all preferred.
