Legal Counsel - Compliance DUTIES: Be a key member of Anduril's small, dynamic Legal team. Drive customer growth by managing the regulatory requirements to develop, deploy and operate Anduril products. Use your expertise in compliance to help the Business Development, Proposal, and Engineering teams efficiently capture new contracts, grow existing contracts, and ensure timely and uninterrupted performance. Assist in the strategy development for new business. Manage relationships with government regulatory agencies. High-trust professional relationships with government regulatory offices are critical to continued success and be called upon to develop and foster these relationships throughout your tenure. Work on all legal aspects of business, from negotiating license and services agreements, to international expansion, to handling intellectual property, and employment matters. Represent the legal team in relationships with outside counsel, vendors, engineers, executives, customers, and regulators.

QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed to practice law in CA or DC. Should have 5+ years of experience with U.S. export controls, including jurisdiction and classification analysis and license applications for both the EAR and ITAR. Familiarity with US IP laws and regulations, including patents, copyright, and trademarks. Familiarity with US spectrum management laws and regulations. Familiarity with US aviation laws and regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years of experience filing STA applications with the FCC. 2+ years of experience in filing authorizations with the FAA, including Part 107 waivers, type class certifications, PAO flights. Pre-law school professional experience. Combination of law-firm and in-house/government experience. Experience working with the government while in private practice. Experience with engineering, software, or other technology. Engineering background in the software, mechanical, or electrical engineering fields. An interest in the law and policy of AI, UAV, spectrum and trade control with opinions about what is right or wrong in the field and how to fix it. Experience with internal patent disclosures and filings with outside patent counsel. In-house experience with HR and employment matters.
