Senior Corporate Counsel - Infrastructure And International Expansion

Senior Corporate Counsel - Infrastructure and International Expansion The candidate will manage legal aspects of the firm's relationships with AWS, Azure, and GCP. Conduct comprehensive legal and regulatory due diligence on foreign countries where Snowflake plans to deploy products, including China. Work with outside counsel to ensure the firm's products comply with applicable foreign legal and regulatory requirements. Make recommendations to executives on optimal ways to address foreign legal and regulatory environments. Optimize product deployments by working cross-functionally with other teams, including product engineering, sales operations, tax, finance, and compliance. Monitor and proactively make recommendations to executives regarding changing foreign legal and regulatory environments. Should have a BA/BS and JD from an accredited law school, 8+ years as a practicing attorney, with 4+ years of working in-house for a technology company, preferable SaaS. Should have 4+ years of working for a public cloud company or managing legal relationships with a public cloud company. Should preferably have 4+ years with direct responsibility for deploying software products in foreign countries, SaaS products, and in China. Must have the ability to communicate concisely and precisely in writing and verbally, and outstanding analytical and organizational skills. Must have a strong bias for action and ownership, ability to work cross-functionally, and delivery results. Must have comfort working in an extremely fast-paced environment, and a sense of humor.
