Senior Corporate Counsel, Americas RESPONSIBILITIES: Addresses legal business matters pertaining to the organization, including all legal aspects of key initiatives. Occasionally delivers corporate training related to legal/contract matters and compliance. Manages complex, strategic negotiations with key global customers/vendors/partners through independent management of cross-functional back-office teams, drafting, and negotiations. Provides a variety of general corporate and commercial legal services to a number of in-house clients, including but not limited to HR, Sales, Professional Services, Marketing, Finance, R&D, and Support functions. Acts as an advisor on legal issues involving the organization s operations. Studies and reviews proposed and current legislation and provide legal advice to department management. Conducts legal research, as needed, for department initiatives and specific matters. Provides legal/regulatory advice related to the company's LATAM business/operations.

QUALIFICATIONS: JD degree and Bar admission for US counsel or equivalent certification required in local country of practice. Should have 5+ years of experience. Spanish fluency is a must. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and teamwork skills. Professional demeanor to maintain and enhance relationships. Demonstrated competency in drafting legal documents, contract terms, and legal memoranda. Ability to train non-legal company staff on corporate legal/contract policies. Ability to research and apply the applicable law to job responsibilities and collaborate with department colleagues.
