Senior Counsel, Employment and Litigation Duties: Lead global employment efforts as the primary legal resource to global People organization. Provide counseling and support on recruiting, employment, employee relations, and compensation/benefits matters. Draft, revise, and update employment and benefits-related documentation and agreements as needed. Advice on internal investigations and recommend appropriate outcomes. Identify and operationalize compliance-based requirements and build scalable employment-related policies with partner teams. Manage employment-related and other litigation including strategy, discovery, drafting, and coordination with external counsel. Highlight developing legal requirements including identifying and addressing employment legal risks and potential future legal risks to the business. Work cross-functionally with teams including recruiting, HR, operations, total rewards, workplace, and equity administration, to support goals and manage its legal obligations.

Qualifications: Licensed to practice law in the United States. Should have 7+ years of experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house at a company with a focus on advising on employment law and related litigation. Familiarity with drafting and reviewing employment documentation, including agreements, policies, and handbooks. Extraordinary communication skills both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail. Ability to provide clear explanations to members of other teams, including senior management.
