Senior Corporate Counsel - Infrastructure And International Expansion

Senior Corporate Counsel - Infrastructure and International Expansion The candidate will manage legal aspects of Snowflake's relationships with AWS, Azure and GCP. Conduct comprehensive legal and regulatory due diligence on foreign countries where Snowflake plans to deploy products, including China. Work with outside counsel to ensure Snowflake products comply with applicable foreign legal and regulatory requirements. Make recommendations to executives on optimal ways to address foreign legal and regulatory environments. Optimize product deployments by working cross-functionally with other teams, including product engineering, sales operations, tax, finance, and compliance. Monitor and proactively make recommendations to executives regarding changing foreign legal and regulatory environments. Should have a BA/BS and JD from an accredited law school. Must have 8 years as a practicing attorney, with at least 4 years working in-house for a technology company, preferable SaaS. Should have 4 years working for a public cloud company or managing legal relationships with a public cloud company. Should also have 4 years with direct responsibility for deploying software products in foreign countries, preferable SaaS products and preferable in China. Ability to communication concisely and precisely in writing and verbally. Outstanding analytical and organizational skills. Strong bias for action and ownership. Ability to work cross functionally and delivery results. Attitude that no project is too big or too small. Comfort working in an extremely fast-paced environment.
