Labor And Employment Counsel

Labor and Employment Counsel Duties: The candidate will be expertly managing labor and employment-related matters, charges, and litigation. Partnering with outside counsel, as needed, in handling various labor and employment disputes. Leading complex, cross-functional projects supporting business and HR priorities. Developing and leading training on labor and employment law topics. Developing and sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues in support of a collaborative, flexible, and energizing team environment

Qualifications: A Juris Doctorate degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited Law institution. Should have 6 years of law firm and/or in-house experience specializing in labor and employment law. Active bar license in the state where practicing or eligible for admission within 6 months of employment. Highly effective communicator. Ability to relate with employees at all levels of the organization, including supervisors, business line leaders, regional heads, and senior management. Single and multi-plaintiff employment litigation experience, including wage & hour litigation. Dedication to responsive client service. Able to prioritize competing demands effectively. Uses creativity and independent initiative to investigate options and recommend solutions. Uncompromising honesty and integrity.
