Corporate Counsel DUTIES: Structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex distribution, development, licensing, production, marketing, and other commercial agreements; and providing ongoing legal counsel across a range of fields, including intellectual property, digital media, and regulatory compliance. Serving as primary legal support for the business. Directly advise our music streaming business on a broad range of entertainment matters. Working as the lead lawyer on strategic projects, providing day-to-day advice to the business in a wide range of legal areas, notably content licensing, marketing, and regulatory compliance. Directly work with the business to take the lead in structuring, drafting and negotiating licenses and commercial agreements with external partners.

QUALIFICATIONS: J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active membership in one State Bar. Should have 5+ years of experience practicing law as a transactional attorney, preferably with some of that time spent working in IP, technology, or entertainment transactions PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years of experience in a national or international law firm. Copyright law experience is preferred. Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, and commitment to follow through and meet deadlines. Sound judgment in ambiguous situations. Passion to embrace challenges and aggressively drive meaningful solutions, including amid complexity and uncertainty.
