Associate Corporate Counsel, Intellectual Property Duties: The candidate will be providing anti-piracy support for film, TV, and live events by managing and auditing the day-to-day anti-piracy vendor coverage programs. Coordinating with internal teams to plan and schedule CP resource deployment. Gathering and analyzing data on piracy trends and team performance to provide regular reports on CP efforts to internal stakeholders and drive our global CP strategy. Responding to content leaks on UGC/social platforms in real time. Working with industry coalitions and other content owners on large-scale CP initiatives. Providing strategic enforcement and technical advice to stakeholders on issues relating to content protection. Researching and evaluating new technological solutions to tackle online piracy and address circumvention of our CP efforts. Staying up to date on piracy-related trends and technologies.

Required Qualifications: Should have 2+ years of experience with a wide range of content protection and/or content security issues, particularly those relevant to television and film production and distribution (studio or vendor experience strongly preferred) Preferred Qualifications: Should have a J.D. degree and membership in good standing in at least one State Bar. Knowledge and proficiency with both technical and legal aspects of film and television CP. Ability to understand and resolve complex legal and business issues. Ability to build an adaptive CP strategy that complements Amazon's business model. Ability to translate CP issues to members of the creative, marketing, business, management, and legal teams. Creativity, attention to detail, commitment to customer service, and excellent communication and writing skills.
